Welcome
We invite you to learn about Nux's pictorial work, his life, and his
remarks on the world and its inhabitants along ninety years, starting
in 1910.
In his paintings he uses the expression means of oils, pastel, tempera,
and watercolors. His first works were done with nib and India ink. His
paintings transpires the teachings of the past addressed to a realism
that seeks color exaltation with a distinct impressionistic trend. General
comments.
It is important to point out that the colors of the work presented,
depend on color, shine and contrast setting of monitors and videocards,
and it aims to be as close to reality as possible, given the quality
and liveliness of the original ones. Likewise, some works are protected
behind a glass; such glasses were not removed to preserve the integrity
of the works, which explains occasional reflections in the digitized
images.
